aha, they are not ATS classics... they're from Performance Wheel in Australia and are not new. I don't know the exact age. They're 14x6.

Looks sharp. You probably want 205 in the rear for traction however.

with 85HP is traction really a problem with modern tires? I bet it can't do a burnout in a wet parking garage.

as a dude who loves to find, refinish, and fit wheels... these were a real score. They may not be as correct as a set of cromodoras but... I can make these work.

last set of wheels I did were these for my son's vw. I don't think these will take quite so much work...

they came out nice after a bit of elbow grease :-)

I wouldn't be able to do any of it if it wasn't for the awesome person attached to those nails! :-)

Re: scorpion #1147 found - resurrection thread

The wider tire in the rear helps with cornering, since your weight is in the back. Keeps it planted and easier to control the rear end, and get it back when it starts to slip or step out. Especially if decelerating in a corner, for instance. Definitely a good handling and fun car. Also may be 80-some horsepower stock but a great engine that's easy to tune for a little more.
205 may give you a tire that's a tick high in the rear but won't scrape on turns like the front. Will also build in some wedge, shifting some of the weight toward the front, which is fine since it has such a rear weight bias.
I think those rims are just the trick and fit the style. Should look sharp.

yes except 205/60-14 tires are practically nonexistent in any name brands. those that are available are high economy touring tires from off brand companies. selection is almost as bad as 13s.

but there's nothing that matches the front! I'm finding it really hard to find a 185 and 205/60-14 matched set of anything.
