    Hello from Italy

    Hi all, fellow Lancisti.
My grandfather's last car was a Fulvia Rally 1.6HF, metallic grey with black wheel arch flares. It came with front and rear bumpers.
After 49 years, she's still with us, i.e. me. and she's now undergoing a 50th anniversary restoration. Not that she was in bad shape, as you can see, but certainly it needed work done under the hood. Not the motor, rather chassis and suspensions parts. I will post pictures and ask for advice certainly. Now the chassis frame with motor and gearbox have been removed, all metal parts sandblasted and ready to be painted. It's a lot of work.
The Fulvia was my grandfather's daily driver for 19 years. I've taken care of it since 1989, and can't wait to have it back on the road.

Welcome to the forum; the car looks great! Good luck with the restoration as well. It wasn't long ago that I had a pile of sandblasted parts myself...

Benvenuto! A 1,6HF 'lusso' in the best of the colors -- grigio Escoli met., and still retaining its bumpers! I look forward to following your progress.

What a lovely Fulvia and what an extraordinary provenance and family history! I am certain I am not unique in wishing I had the care, responsibility and enjoyment of a grandparent’s car. Welcome and please share your treasure with us as you make her road worthy again.
