Hi, can anyone tell me how to access the timing mark on the fly wheel please. Is it from underneath the car?
Thanks in advance

LHD cars:
There is a window at the back of the engine left of the distributor, hidden under some cables, tubes and the brake fluid reservoir. It should have a cover (kind of small sheet metal flap) which you have to open. It tends to fall back as soon as you draw your hand back. But maybe it has gone lost during the car´s life.
In the pictures you can see that I abuse the window to put jaws on the flywheel teeth in order to lock the flywheel to remove a torn off bolt

Hi Hubert,
Thanks for your advice. I'll have a look.
