    Instrument light on Rev counter

New S2 owner question, I tried searching for a layout of the Fulvia warring lights but could not find one......what is out
the Orange light is on the rev counter....probably a rookie question.

Went out for a drive tonight and it was illuminated couldn't work out what it was for.

    Cheers.

Perfect thought that might be the case, had a fiddle and did not go off so will investigate at the weekend.

    Thanks for coming back

Re: Instrument light on Rev counter

The mechanism for the choke idiot-light is pretty “Mickey-mouse”, if you ask me, particularly by Lancia standards. It’s based upon the pivoting choke lever making or breaking ground contact by sliding along a piece of bendable (and thus adjustable by bending it) steel. The best thing is to detach the choke lever assembly (two bolts, if I recall), detach the choke cable, then thoroughly clean the lever assembly and bend the “connector” until it functions as you want it to. Remember that the lever pivot-point must have non-conductive washers so that the circuit is made or broken solely by the one end of the lever, if you follow my drift.
