    Restored Beta Coupe, nicely done

Looks great! I could nitpick, but I wouldn't dare. I'd rather have this than a Fulvia...

I wouldn't trade my Fulvia for it, but that's a gorgeous Beta Coupé. One of the three I've had was a '79, but it wasn't in this kind of condition. It's madness to restore one to this level, as it's going to be very hard to find buyer at that price.

And while I liked my '79, if I was going to restore one, it'd be an injected '81, which was by far the best of the three I had. It'd cost only a little more to restore (the L-Jet would take more than a single Weber), but the additional power and drivability would be too much to resist.

    I resemble that remark ;-)

$7k feels like a bargain given the condition, but hopefully the engine rebuild entailed bringing the internals up to European spec. Would be a shame to have spent all that money and still have to settle for 80 hp when 120 or so is so easily attainable.

I'm looking at it and see an asking price of $20K. Am I missing something? (If it's $7K, then I'm off to the bank on my lunch hour! )
