    i.e warning light

    Hi,

I have a problem with the "i.e" warning light on my Thema 8.32. It has always been there but now it's time to solve the issue.

Does any of you know where the "Electronic module for warning light" is located ? It has tag number 220 in the electrical drawings and is connected between the KE Jetronic box and the cars instruments - somewhere... It should have a black and grey/black wire connected. I just can't find it.

I believe the Delta Integrale and other Themas have the same module.

    Regards,
    Arvid

    Re: i.e warning light

To answer myself, since I found the "220" box today,it is located under the coolant expansion tank. A smart place to have a fragile electronic box. Not closer to solving the "i.e" warning though...

Have you looked in the Library download Section? there's something on 8.32 as well as series 2/3 Thema Manuals.

    Re: i.e warning light

    Hi Brian,

I actually found the problem and it had nothing to do with faults in the injection system as one should think. It was the little black box located under the coolant expansion tank. This box is the instrument control unit - Centralina Strumenti - is what Lancia calls it. I found a new one on ebay and after that the "i.e" warning was gone. One light solved and two remaining - battery charge and oil pressure. More head scratching...
