From the bad pictures, it looks great! Somebody near me should snap this up so I can come see it!

Seems a great original condition car full of Patina. Shame the stripe is slightly incorrect though and why remove the battery to the boot when the car is so original??

Price probably reflects the fact that the car will need money on it if the future owner want concors

I guess the pictures aren't so bad, was looking on my phone before. Yes seems like a bargain or at least a fair deal as the paint job looks marginal (overspray, stripe incorrect as mentioned).

I would want to see it first if I was in the market, but would also think this goes quick. Yes, why move the battery and drill a kill switch through the rear fender?

Waiting for one of the SoCal guys to chime in as I'm sure someone knows this car..

Maybe he had trouble finding a battery that would fit in the normal spot? Definitely seems like a lot of trouble to relocate it with no real benefit. Doesn't the battery and rad help balance the weight of the engine at the front?

This was for sale in New Jersey, on eBay, last year, for a similar price. This guy lives in my neighborhood, actually. We played phone tag last night, hopefully I can see it this week.

My initial thought was "bargain" and "too bad it's not near my home" as well. But then 1.2HF aren't as sought after as 1.3HF, so one shouldn't fall into the trap of comparing to 1.3HF prices. If there is more than patina that can be preserved, but some real work is required, it's a completely different story. See the discussion on BaT back in 2009, when another 1.2HF was sold in the US.

I'll certainly follow anything you add when you saw the car - even though I'm a continent and an ocean away and won't actually buy it

Guessing here, but the battery tray is prone to rust, maybe it was relocated when the respray was done to avoid future problems? Either way, bad idea but not hard to fix.
