Well, its a long time since I´ve seen a set of these.

carburetor experts: Do you think this is a set from the 60/70´s, or is a later repro?

i'm not aware of any "repros" of the dhlb. that's quite a find.
although, the 32's tend to turn up more frequently than the 35's. what are you planning to do with them?

I plan to use them on my 66 1,2 coupe.
It has Its original Solexes that are a little worn around the throttle shafts.

I found them on eBay today, so I havent received them yet.
    Looking forward to it

Re: Dellorto DHLB 32s -new in box

i suspect you're going to love them. leaky throttle shafts are such a disappointment, you always know there's a compromise in performance that you just keep trying to tune out. that old saying that goes 99% of carburetor issues are ignition related makes you keep fussing with it. sometimes it's just the carbs...

As Brian says, they must be original, not repros. A truly remarkable find.

Re: Dellorto DHLB 32s -new in box

I've had Dellorto 32Dhlb's fitted to my 1091cc 2c Berlina for about 12 years now, they are such a great improvement on the solexes, don't expect an increase in performance, but they run so much nicer and stay in tune for years! Much easier to work on if you need to with the jets on top, not that apart from normal checks, mine haven't been touched since they were fitted, about 25,000 miles ago.

Looks exactly the same kit as mine including the label and parcel tape.
So I'm pretty sure it's genuine.

Re: Dellorto DHLB 32s -new in box

That's the true original complete kit for the Dellorto 32 for Lancia 2C/Coupe 1.2 for sure. Including the seperate sets of trumphets, choke cable etc.

I have never seen them as "new" like this.

A word of caution for those looking for DHLB 32: the DHLB 35 were only made for the Fulvia (in two variants really, one for the 1.3 and a slightly different version - different jetting and choke - for the 1.3S; convertible from one variant to the other). But the DHLB 32 body was used for a lot of different engine models like Fiat etc. Those that are not originally made for the Fulvia WILL NOT WORK ON THE FULVIA: not only is the jetting wrong (which can be fixed), but the internal layout of channels etc inside is different. The DHLB 32 for the other engine types uses the same raw cast allright, but the difference in after treatment makes it next to impossible to get them right for the Fulvia. DO NOT BUY DHLB 32 ON EBAY IF THEY AREN'T SOLD AS A SET (only the DHLB 32 for the Fulvia came in a pair).

I have some 5 sets of DHLB 32 and probably 10 sets of DHLB 35, all in used unrestored condition. I also have various versions of non-Fulvia DHLB 32 (mostly NOS) that I sometimes buy for spares parts that are no longer available if I can have them for a reasonable price.

You can trust me, the non-Fulvia DHLB 32 will not work on the Fulvia.
