    72 Fulvia steering wheel removal

Does anyone know if there’s a specific steering wheel puller for a 72 Fulvia? There are no traditional threaded holes for a common puller. Any suggestions would be appreciated. John

    Method:
Get behind the wheel and undo the nut until flush with the rod end. Push the wheel firmly towards you with your knees and apply a healthy blow with a heavy hammer on the nut/rod end using an extension piece so as not to damage the wheel. Sounds crude but doesn't need to be if done properly, and always works.

Don't forget to turn the wheel to 'dead ahead' position otherwise you will have trouble in getting it back on in the right position.

Exactly how I got it off. Basically fell off after a good tap with the mallet.

That's the best method -- just don't forget to leave the nut on (flush with the end of the thread) as noted, so the wheel doesn't end up in your face
