Restoring my Solex carbs - but which type are they?

Going to restore my Solex carburetors. Was told that one of the axles is worn by a mechanic, who tuned them a couple of years ago.

I have found a source on Ebay. But I'm very confused what type exactly, they are. PHH 35, PHH 32, 31.

    Hope someone can clarify...

This is the Ebay dealer: https://www.ebay.com/str/ALFA1750S-C...at=19326594017

This is the carbs, and my Fulvia is a 1970 1,3S Coupe "1,5 series"

    Thanks!

The C.35 indicates that they are PHH 35 carbs. Since I've been working with PHH 32 carbs, I'm not sure what the 16 and 19 mean.

i thought i saw you post on huib's website that these were doing ok now?
the phh16/phh19 set sticks out in my memory.
this seems to be a mismatched set of carbs for some reason. maybe marnix will see this post and have some input as to the differences between the two and then we can see if they can truly work together.
renewing the spindle/bore is specialist work but can be done. sometimes it's easier to find a set in better condition to rebuild though.

    further thoughts...
if this is not the same person from the post i mentioned, maybe this is a common set up for this year of car. (i am more familiar with the earlier series)
in any case, what you have are c35 phh16 and c35phh19.

This is the only place I stated this question... Could be interesting to verify the odd difference between them....

i'm sure it must be something minor, like one has a different fitting for fuel return or something like that. anyway, the ebay seller you mention is the same one most of us use for parts. i didn't know he offered service to address the spindle bores though.

If you look at the link the seller sent me, when I asked for oversized shaft + rebuild kit, this is what is available - (There are actually several different kits to choose between for the PHH 35 carb)

    https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_ssn=alfa1750&LH_PrefLoc=2&_from=R40&_trksi d=p2499338.m570.l1313.TR10.TRC1.A0.H0.XSOLEX+35+PH H.TRS1&_nkw=SOLEX+35+PHH&_sacat=0

Will look into which kit to buy.

i see. i've seen the oversize spindles there before. reaming the bores must be done carefully to be sure the alignment is right. i'm sure this is not brand new information to you though.
the good news is, when properly renewed, the car will run fantastic.

    I've got a Fulvia S2 '71 and this car's got the same carbs as yours: C35 phh16 and C35phh19.
I think they're the originals from that period.

I guess that's the same kit as the one you saw on ebay. Just don't buy the one that says PHHE instead of PHH and I hope you'll be fine.

    greetings,
