    New member from Switzerland

    Dear All,

I am truly happy to join the Lancisti community! I always loved the Lancias and, back in 2013, I finally bought my first one in an auction without even a test drive...!
But I fell in love with my Fulvia and never regret my purchase even when it had mechanical problems.

It is a 1.3s from 1974, imported from Italy to Switzerland in the 90's, and I always thought it was Lancia Blue but now I am hesitating with Mendoza Blue as it is clearly beige inside... Maybe you will comfirm it to me?

I hope the picture is not too big... I used it as my daily driver for almost 4 years and now I began its restoration (I am not at all a mecanic or anything like that but a true passionate and hopefully I will be able to finish this huge adventure).

As I am a true petrolhead, I also bought a 1976 Lancia Montecarlo Spider but that is a complete different story !

I already thank everyone for all the advices and information I will receive and I cannot wait to read the huge amount of documentation available in this forum.

    Cheers,

    Mathieu

Welcome! I too bought my Lancia without test driving ( I never even saw mine in person). It had enough issues to warrant immediate teardown so I'm in the process of a restoration right now. There are plenty of experts here on the forum that have been a huge help to me, and I'm sure can provide you with great advice as well. Good luck with your restoration!

    Mathieu,

I just looked again at your question in your first post. Your interior does indeed appear to be "beige" vinyl, not "cuoio". My Fulvia ‘3' color chart indicates that bleu Lancia coordinates with "cuoio" vinyl. But the other (non-metallic) blue was bleu Agnano, and that also coordinated with cuoio. At least according to the factory color booklet. But there were always deviations; it wouldn’t surprise me at all if yours left the factory with bleu Lancia and beige.

    Dear Ed,

I am pretty sure that my Fulvia is Bleu Lancia as this color appears everywhere (under the dashboard, on the interior of the doors...) but the interior has been refurbished once in the past in the 90's (I found something under the driver's seat).

I particularly like this color combination and I think I will stick to it.

    Thanks for all,

    Mathieu
