    13" Wheels on an S2

I've read that 13" wheels don't fit on an S2 due to the caliper size, but I came across this old listing of what appears to be an S2 Montecarlo with 13" Campagnolo wheels:

WHEELS. TYRES. SUSPENSION & BRAKESThe wheels are a set of gold 7 X 13 Campagnola alloys. These are in great condition and are shod in a set of Kuhmo asphalt slicks. The lowered and stiffened suspension provides a firm ride and the handling is very responsive. The brakes are the original Girling 4 pot calipers which bring the car to a stop with no fuss.

It's possible by shaving the calipers -- something that's never seemed to me like something I'd want to do.

Interesting, I have hade the same question. It seems that some S1 cars were modified with Girling calipers in the '70s (including the works cars?).
I got a bunch of used Girling calipers with my car, I have to see if they seem shaved. (Will they fit on the Dunlop disc?)

Just maybe there is a smidge more clearance with the 4 spoke campys wrt the homologated multi spoke design.

Yeah, doesn't seem like a great idea, but then again if it is only a couple mm...

That could be as well. I wonder!
