Possible part out or buy whole car.

So I blew the motor in the zagato. Nice big hole in the block, so the block is toast.
I don't really want to put any more time or money into an example that needs this much work.
Although it is a 39xxx original mile car, it needs a lot of work I just can't give it. It was sitting outside for a while and did have rust at one point that has been taken care of.

Not looking for too much. Maybe $1500?
All parts are there except rear convertible top and interior carpet.

Would like to get a list going of people who want parts off of it. I have a lot of glass. 2 windshields, lots of door glass, 2 sets of quarter windows,

So pretty much the deal is sell it whole if someone wants it, or it'll be parted out. Not looking for too much. Maybe $1500?
I'll upload some pictures tomorrow when it is light out.
I'll give it a week to sell before starting to take parts off of it.
I really need a $500 rusty Beta to turn into an italian track car.

Ouch. I'm really sorry man. Did you mistime the auxiliary shaft on reassembly or timing belt installation? If so, it can be possible to reweld the piece back on, if you have it.
I may have a spare block for reasonable. Certainly a 1.8 and possibly a 2L. I'm in Oregon. If you, or potential buyer want to go that way. Which is it, 79 or 81?
Also I have a fairly solid 1.8L HPE with manual steering that could use a little more love if you decide to go a different direction.

I went to shift at redline and right when I pushed the clutch in was when the aux shaft broke. I assume the timing belt slipped. :C

I have a spare 2L block fully dissembled and ready for a rebuild, but I have been wanting to put it in a scorpion if I can ever find one. Modifying the Aux shaft is on the list of things to do for the block now!

here are some pictures. You may notice part of the aux shaft on the blue microfiber.
