Series 1 parts are more difficult to find than series 2 thats for sure. When you find some pop up on ebay its like a lottery win. By far the most helpful to my rebuild is Felix at lancia services cape town.
Hes a little far away but if you can get over the logistics theres no one else who can lay there hands on as big a selection of new and used parts.

i thought that the decarbon shock, being gas pressure monotube, would influence the ride height to a degree. since they're leaking, i wouldn't try to adjust the ride height till you replace them, then set the suspension as stated in the manual.
shame about the clutch judder. whenever i've had it that bad, i've had to re-surface the flywheel and replace the friction disc. i think you know this already though, good luck with it

Thanks for the pointers guys, hopefully I'll be able to get hold of what i need.

Luckily I've managed to source a revised 4 speed 'box (mine had worn out synchros, and was whining and making some serious noises) which should be here any day, making the clutch/flywheel job less of a pain to get at.

I'll let you guys know how i get on and what the cars like when its finally on the road properly!

Thanks for all your great advice 🙂

With regards to the clutch judder- I had this for a while, but it occurred mainly when reversing, and not much in a forward gear. It turned out to be broken gearbox mounts. Thus, I would check yours, along with engine and subframe mounts while you’re looking. Reproductions seem to be available.
