Ok, thanks. That is probably it, because the car has a radio but no external antenna.

    Question:

    10. Which tyres are the original tyres, dimension etc. I now can purchase a set of Michelin MX 145/R14 S76. Are this correct tyres for the S1? (they are old tyres but never used)

    Question 11:

    11. Is there a way to put on the hazard warning lights? I can not find it in the manual.

No hazard lights switch on a S1 car. It is possible (but not that easy) to modify the wiring to include one yourself.

The MX tyres are long out of production by now. Those on sale (even never used) are by now several decades old. It is not wise/safe to use that kind of old tyres. It may not be visually apparent, but you can bet the rubber has aged, and the tyres are unsafe.

For alternatives: in case of normal road use: CAMAC offers the 145R14 in a vintage style, they can stand the low 1.8bar tyre pressure without difficulty, and they are cheap. Only disadvantage: they may not last as long as more expensive tyres (mine have 30000 km on the clock, and are beginning to wear out - the front ones; soon to be replaced by new ones).

There are other alternatives, look around on the forum, the subject has been raised several times, without a really good solution in the end.

interestingly enough, my car has the hardware needed to do this minus the switch. in the footwell, high on the firewall there is a set of relays that look like they were installed at the factory. the wiring all matches the factory wiring and the relays are the same as the factory used. i scoured the wiring diagrams to find these, but to no avail. i made a sketch of how it's wired for future reference as i've had issues with the turn indicators before. long story short, the column switches just activate the relay coils, and the relays do the work. all i have to do is activate both relays at the same time, and all turn indicators light up as hazard lights.

Re: Hello, soon I will be a (newbie) Fulvisti (Coupé) . A couple of questions...

    1. hich parts is wisely to have as spare for my Fulvia Series 1?
    2. Is the cleaning product you see in the picture okay to use on the vinyl dashboard and outside rubbers to protect against cracking?
    3. Do you guys have some other recommendations how to clean, maintain and preserve the Fulvia?
    4. Any advice is welcome!
