    New original fastons ?

    Hello,

i wanna make some new wires for trunk door, rear lamps etc, but without new fastons is not possible. I had to use original used faston, so i cut the wire, use solder or some another method to connect new wire with the old one.

Does anybody know where to buy new original faston to crimp new wire ?

Do you have a photo of what you're looking for as I don't understand what you mean by a 'faston'

I think he means wiring terminals/connectors.

I mean this, but there are more types. Wires with correct colours I will take from other car, but these pins can't get new.

    Hi CZ,
Don't get much call for Dedra these days, I've been the Lancia Motor Club UK, Dedra technical adviser since 1995, I've had 5 Dedras, but don't get many queries these days, at one time it took all my spare time and a bit more.
If you PM with your email I'll send you mine, then we can speak direct.
If you do so please send me photos of what it is you are after.

    Hi Robert,
Thanks for your reply, we did post a couple of times for photos, as at the time we couldn't work out what type of fastener you wanted, I would refer to these as electrical harness connectors.
Pleased you've at last found what you were looking for, no doubt they are still available in the UK if I had known what to look for.
Sorry I can't help but to say if the Punto is of the same era as Dedra, the answer is almost certainly yes.

    Re: New original fastons ?

I know, my fault. Use word "fastons" was not good idea. It's call pin terminal. Its difficult to me named that thing at the end of cable But still, you didn't have a problem with old cables for front/rear lamp?
In the attachment is my new/repair cable harness for sedan Dedra's trunk door(made from 2 old harness = 1 new)- there is classic problem in the gromet in that harness.

But i haven't these pins, so i have to cut cable near to pin and use this ->https://www.elancar.cz/fotografie/ma...su-1055278.jpg to connect pin to new cable.

Next time i will buy these new original pins, buy new cables with corrent color and make whole new harness from A to Z. And that will be finally done for whole life of my Dedra
