Re: Taddraughn's Fulvia Coupe: Progress Thread

That´s correct, but there is not much room where it could go. It is centered by the ball pin and when the car is on the ground it presses itself down.
Anyhow, I am not fighting for a poor solution...

Re: Taddraughn's Fulvia Coupe: Progress Thread

What about throwing the retainer in the bin using self locking nuts instead. That will cause a problem at Pebble Beach, but only there, i`d say.:)
(That is what I do on the Flavia, same parts).

Re: 4th cylinder not running well

    Just an idea.

Isn´t the vacuum for the brake servo taken from the inlet of cylinder #4? Sounds a little bit as if #4 suffers from false air. Unplug the vacuum hose from the cylinder head stub and...

Re: Distributor for 1972 Lancia Flavia 2000

The distributor for Lancia 2000 (type 820.000) is Marelli S102 D. The earlier Flavias have S102 A, B or C (Berlina 815.00 had S90B). The advance curve of the S102D differs significantly from the...

    Re: (probably) ignition problem

First thing to check, correct firing order?

Second, i´d say you are right: crankshaft/distributor 180° off. You may check this by rotating the igniton wires two positions further.
