Re: Taddraughn's Fulvia Coupe: Progress Thread

I was definitely planning on cleaning out the sludge traps in the crank before putting the engine back together. How do you recommend cleaning all the old oil out?

Re: Taddraughn's Fulvia Coupe: Progress Thread

I think any 1.3 engine I build will probably satisfy me since right now I'm putting around with the 818.100, which really is not THAT slow if you rev it all the way up. I've actually been very...

What brand pistons did you go with? I like the rod measuring fixture you have.. I may have to make something similar when it's time to balance all the components.

Re: Taddraughn's Fulvia Coupe: Progress Thread

I couldn't resist! :) I haven't checked the oil clearances yet (need to order some plastigauge) but if they measure within tolerance and don't require any new bearings that would be great!

    I'll...

Re: Taddraughn's Fulvia Coupe: Progress Thread

There is definitely no one local that I trust to bore it out that far!! I did manage to find a place that can probably do it here in town, but I haven't spoken with them yet. They're a local crank...

Re: Windshield Washer for S1 1.3S

I must have missed the ball valve in the tube going to the washer nozzle.. Is it supposed to be located near the pump or closer to the nozzle?

Re: Taddraughn's Fulvia Coupe: Progress Thread

Thanks! It's been great driving the car around so much lately. I've had a few issues pop up since having it back together and lately have been trying to find the source of an oil leak that started...

Re: Windshield Washer for S1 1.3S

You have to pull it fairly hard, but it is a manual pump! You can probably just stick your fingers over where the tubes would connect and pull it out all the way to see which one sucks. The hose...

Re: Taddraughn's Fulvia Coupe: Progress Thread

I've been enjoying my Fulvia quite a lot since having it back together, but as Brian suggested it hasn't been long and I'm already looking for something to tinker with. That and since it's starting...

    Re: Fulvia 1,3 HF

The engine sounds great! I just took my spare engine halfway apart yesterday; maybe it will sound this good when it goes back together :)

    Good luck with your project!

Yes for some reason the attachments didn't work, but looking forward to seeing the other pictures when you get that sorted. I too wanted to get mine on the road...

After seeing this thread I looked into the coco mats and decided that I'd like to get one for the front. It is a bit expensive since it's larger than most floor mats usually are (like a modern car...

The 2D drawings on their website are definitely made from 3D models, but I doubt they'd want to share them with me. Guess I could ask though; the worst they could say is no. I've been very busy on...

    Re: Fulvia EFI!

I could do a billet piece that adapts the spacing and houses the injectors, but I might also just try and fabricate a new intake manifold. The hard part in fabricating (for me at least) will be...

S2 style ball joints have the flange incorporated into the ball joint itself i believe! (I'm assuming you're thinking the flange is the cap like on the S1 set up here?)
