  4. Re: Regulator/check valve at carb leaking

He hasn’t responded but I will follow up if he does. I did install it like you suggested but still leaks out that hole. I wonder if I could just plug it without consequences. Does leaking indicate...

Re: High IDLE 1977 Beta saloon 2000

Nice job!! Car looks nice. Keep up the good work. I’d rebuild the carb for sure. All the soft parts especially if sitting for a long period or just simply old. Just replaced a bunch of fuel lines...
  7. Re: Regulator/check valve at carb leaking

Great info as always SubG and much appreciated. It’s been mounted horizontally for years but I will try vertically mounting it to see if the leaking stops out the hole. The pump installed is...
  8. Re: Regulator/check valve at carb leaking

Thanks for that Dave. It does look
Like that for the most part. Just don’t understand the factory pin hole in the unit. When I said orientation, I meant hole on the top as opposed to the underside...
  9. Regulator/check valve at carb leaking

The check valve, or as another thread contributor called it, a fuel pressure regulator as seen in an emissions booklet, is leaking fuel when the vehicle is running. I pulled out the unit, which has...

Re: Fuel line size 78 Beta Sedan

TY again Dave. Good idea on the pre filter. Just have to figure out the direction of flow. Don’t see any arrows on the pump. Car only had 30k miles when I bought it so confident that it’s...

Hey Dave. Appreciate all the good info. I’m going to start by replacing all the hoses within the rear compartment under the car. There’s probably 5 or 6 under there. They all look the same size...
