Re: Car keeps stalling on hills.

Cleaning the tank, and the screen etc. is the best thing but if the clogging media is some sort of sludge it may disperse in the fuel especially if you use good quality detergent fuels. Redline...

Re: Car keeps stalling on hills.

On US Betas the pickup terminates in a well close to the center and bottom of the tank. The pickup has a SS mesh around a can shape, the mesh making the sides of the can. To see if this being...

Re: Removing the Intake Plenum Hose

Heat helps a bit, you're in Vegas so that shouldn't be a problem. The lip that the hose fits over on the throttle body is significant, so it takes more effort than you might imagine. I recall using...

    Re: AC condenser removal question

Maybe not, but this is a common way to make things easier in a Beta, similar to removing the battery.

    Re: Scorpion - adjusting camber

If it's lowered past a certain amount, the camber will be affected beyond the range of normal. So you'll have to come up with a way to make the camber back within range. Slotted strut mount bolt...

    Re: Scorpion - adjusting camber

It may be lowered, count the coils of the springs and compare to stock.

    Re: Beta muffler quality differences?

Back when I got new exhaust for my old Budget Zagato, I got them from Obert. He shows the middle and front parts in stock. The front part is a european version that you'd have to cut and weld to...
  8. Re: 1981 Beta Runs... after the key is removed

Might be a bad diode in the alternator allowing current to backfeed.

Re: Car idling for only 5 seconds.

Sounds like an air leak between the AFM and throttle body. Look for loose hose/clamp or cracked hose, especially the main ribbed one, or that this hose is not tight at one end.

    Re: Vacuum hose question

I think that's for the vacuum advance at the distributor.
  12. Re: Upgrading ie to Modern Injection System - Stealth Install!!

Looking very tidy so far! The cyclonic trap on a Fiat/Lancia TC engine can get crudded up and should be cleaned occasionally. Not sure if that would cause your oil problem, but maybe.

    Re: LBZ reverse lights wiring

It's been a number of years since I had my Budget Zagato, so I referenced the wire diagrams and it appears the switch wiring connects to a two-connector bullet connector coming from a green sheathed...

Re: HELP!!!! Zagato body work help!!!

A shop that is any good should be able to affect repairs to your car without being Lancia experienced. I would do any required disassembly yourself and make sure they ask for your input to make it...

    Re: Beware this Scorpion

It looks good enough, fairly complete and the floor pan could be fixed properly. I think the interior is pretty nice!

Use the wire diagrams in the downloads section to verify your wiring connections at the coil, module and starter. I don't have a ßeta anymore so I can't directly reference it for you. It appears...

    Re: Getting parts from Europe?

A little googling results in the advice not to provide this. It's unnecessary and opens you to fraud. I'd feign that you don't have a passport.
  21. Re: So yet another headlight switch installed but this time - NOTHING.

Abgwin, it's time to get out your trusty 12v test light and diagnose your problem. I suspect your problem is your ignition switch. The power from the headlights comes through the ignition switch,...
