Re: Carb Upgrade - S3 Fulvia

That's right. With the engine rebuilt to street compression (10.5:1), the 38mm venturis weren't ideal, so I'm running the standard street 36mm. But I'm still experimenting, so I may try 37s...

Re: Carb Upgrade - S3 Fulvia

The venturi size v max revs chart is in the Downloads under "Weber DCOE set-up" or something similar. Particularly if you're speaking of a berlina (which I didn't understand until now), you should be...

Re: Is It Wrong - Twin Lights

Yes -- 'Daytona' spec matches the Fanalone: 5.75" outers / 7" Carello Megalux inners. Standard US-spec is 5.75" quads

Re: Lancia Clubs in the USA

I asked because the ALC has been better in recent years. There was a VX-engine Scorpion at last month's West Coast Reunion. There's no changing some people, but times and minds do change

    Re: Lurching/surging carb (?) problem.

6 psi is too much fuel pressure; you really don't want more than about 4.5 psi. I can't say that this is your problem, but it may be related.

Re: Is It Wrong - Twin Lights

The quad headlight set-up was US spec. I believe Adan Figueroa at LaLancia.com has a NOS set, as well as the acrylic covers. If you can't find them on his web site, contact him by email.

  11. Re: Black coating in boot area - fulvia coupè?

S1 boot is satin black on all surfaces (except underside of boot lid, which is body color)

    Re: Lancia Elephant emblems ciolour?

I've done a fair amount of research on the origins of the HiFi Club, and I've found no reference to the "elephants never forget" story

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on the purchase! I'll let the NorCal guys respond on service in your area. In any case, I doubt that the carbs were actually rejetted when it...

Craig's List: Re: Restored Beta Coupe, nicely done

I wouldn't trade my Fulvia for it, but that's a gorgeous Beta Coupé. One of the three I've had was a '79, but it wasn't in this kind of condition. It's madness to restore one to this level, as it's...

There’s an old joke that rules of thumb are useful if you’re measuring thumbs. And in that context I think Marnix's comments are very well taken, particularly his reminder that the carb barrel and...

  25. Re: Polycabonate / Plastic door windows in Fulvia HF

I don't know what thickness was used, but acrylic was originally used, so polycarbonate is a perfectly good substitute. Leaking and flapping are pretty much par for the course on a competition car.
