Building a 1/20 scale Lancia D-50

The rear de-dion tube sits on a cast aluminum housing connected to the leaf spring and transaxle. Its a bit tricky because the driveshaft ends need to be inserted into both the transaxle and the hubs at the same time when gluing it together.
At each end of the de-dion tube , 2 pieces of photo-etch are glued together and then bent out to form the upper and lower connection points for the long and short radius arms. The other end of the radius arms are glued to holes drilled into the chassis tubes.
The rocker arms were carefully drilled out using 0.6, 0.8 and 0.9mm drills and I added a metal bushing to the pivot point.
The rocker arms work on hydraulic dampers that are mounted on a cast pedestal. I added Lancia emblem decals from an old Integrale kit and , based on some nice original b+w photos a pinstripe was also added but its hard to see. I left most parts as bare metal , adding only Tamiya "smoke" to bring out small details and the de-dion tube was primed and then painted in Tamiya TS-42 light gun metal spray.
Next up is the radiator , oil cooler and front leaf spring sub-assemblies followed by the steering rack.
