  1. it's a sand blasting enclosure!

I couldn't find that "useful" bit of perspex that I stored away knowing that it would come in handy one day, but I decided to test drive my home made, flat pack sand blasting enclosure.

I dug out my industrial spec 3M filter mask, and goggles and then dragged all the kit into the garden.

Now what could I try to blast?

    That'll do!

  3. Yes, but it is art?

No - it's a bunch of Fulvia wheel arch extensions.

The days in the northern hemisphere are getting longer, and a bit warmer. That makes it a bit easier to get outside and do stuff. As the sun was shining, I decided to have another look at the subframe that was under a sheet in the garden. Another dose of paraffin on the subframe and the gearbox start to get them more presentable.

The shocks on the sub frame don't look too hot, I'm going to replace them. Unbolting the bottom end was easy, but as I tried to undo the top bolt the whole ...

  5. Rebuilding an inner wheel arch

So how do you rebuild an inner wheel arch so that it matches the outer arch?

Well it helps if you can remove the outer wheel arch.

William tacked on the new rear wing

There are a couple of tacks either end of the swage line, and a lot of clamps.

When the panel is in the 'right' place then a piece of guide metal can be tacked onto the existing inner arch, once that's ...
