  5. Panhard Rod

    The panhard rod that connects the rear axle to the body was the last bit of the rear suspension that needed to be connected. I tried to do this on my own a few times, but you really need about three hands.

    I got a fellow Lancia owner to help out.

    He spotted that the pin that needs to be inserted is tapered, and only goes in one way - so that made it a bit easier!

    Jacking up the axle on one side, and my friend sitting on the rear wing made all the holes line ...
