Today was a long day. It started picking up where I left off yesterday doing the brakes at all four corners. Moving to the front, I decided it was a good time to renew the bearings which were rumbling noticeably. First task was loosening the tie-rod joint and lower hub pivot joint. Over the past week and much of today I got things moving along pertaining to the pedal cluster and related systems. Originally I replaced the clutch slave which fixed the dead clutch pedal but as these things go I was pretty sure the clutch m/c would fail at an inconvenient time. So I planned and collected parts. Those who need to replace worn out shocks on your Lancia Beta Coupe Zagato or HPE. There are several shocks for sale on Ebay right now for the front and rear replacement. Monroe,KYB and Gabriel here in the USA. Anyone else who sells you shocks wants over $300 for just one. Ebay is selling them for a lot less and for two inserts.
