Greetings,
Is it normal to hear some "fluid noises" in the power steering system? Noises that sound like the fluid is being moved through some kind of sytem of glands for lack of a better description. Also the steering is a little stiff/tight until the car warms up completely. My other 2.5L Alfa 75-Milano power steering system never made noises like this. I believe the steering racks across the 2.5L and 3.0L Milanos are indentical in every way.
After the engine/car reaches full operating temperature the rack is completely quiet and the steering seems to work great. BTW: There are no leaks in the rack and reservoir is full of enough of the correct type of fluid. Please advise.
Thanks in advance.
