hi
i'm close to fit my brand new DCNF 42 on my S1, but i not sure of what i'am doing....
on the original inlet manifold, there is a cooling inlet on the left. on my mangoletsi manifold, i no more have pipe which allow to connect cooling as original (so sorry for my english, hope someone would understand my questions)
what do i have to do? block up the cooling inlet?
i even don't know if i have to block up hydrovac connexion, considering that i no longer use it...i suppose it would cause a depression if i let it open without connecting hydrovac...
hope someone is able to help my!!
thanks for reading my poetic english!

Yes.
Block the cooling port to the dual manifold.
I'm not sure what you mean by "hydrovac". If you mean the vacuum advance for the distributor, you can just take that off.
If you mean the vacuum system line that goes to the charcoal canister, then you will want to add a port for that in your manifold so your heater still works.
Hope this helps. Good luck. :)

Antonio, Go ahead and block both the Vacuum port for the Hydro-Vac. and the spare water outlet. They serve no purpose in your application.
Will, Hydro-Vac is Lockheed's trade name for the remote brake booster, and has become common usage like Kleenex.

Ha ha, been so long since my car had a brake booster I forgot about that!
BUT:
IMO you should either feed the booster vacuum or jump it out/remove it entirely. I found that pushing THROUGH the disabled booster is extra effort, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't help braking any either.
AFAIK a Hydrovac is a truck mounted dredge-type vacuum excavator for clearing around utility services (like your domestic water feed line), I never heard the other definition. Learn something new every day, I guess. Different line of work = different definition. Say "air tools" and most listers will picture an impact wrench. But the majority of MY air tools are nailers. Go figure.

Around here in Colorado (Yes! I'm actually back home!), they use those things for sucking priarie dogs out of their mazes when they need to relocate them to make way for development.
Conjures up some interesting mental images...

thanks for answering.
will, what is the best way to block cooling inlet?i would use something like epoxy paste, but i am not so sure....
does anyone remember diameter of carbs fuel pipe?? don't you think 6 mm is good? do i have to use 8 mm pipe and fuel fitting union? (i will use a fuel pressure regulator and i think connection are 8mm..)
thanks

Tap the hole and screw a threaded plug down it !
Expoxy won't last and will blow out in the middle of nowhere when it's raining and at night . . .
