There was some concern that door key blanks are becoming hard to obtain.

This doesn't appear to be the case as the local key cutter got a new Silca GT2P blank OK. It was an opportunity to test out his new key cutting milling machine.

I bought a couple of door keys from a guy in Australia that sells them on ebay. I didn't have a key with any numbers on it so he had me email him a few images of my key. Hey matched it exactly and it was very reasonable even including shipping cost to USA. I have a couple of spare blank door keys if anyone wants to trade something for them. Mark R

Here in the States, where Lancias haven't been sold since '82, is where problems are most frequently encountered finding door key blanks. I'm not surprised that NZ still has blanks -- that's where I discovered (online with creative Googling) a cache of a dozen or so long-NLA Silca GT2BP blanks with plastic Lancia shield-logo-shaped heads (http://htdoctor.com/Lancia/GT_2BPkey.shtml), which I hooked up with the aforementioned guy in Oz, who is now auctioning them on eBay (as his "deluxe" Lancia blanks) and via his own site at Keys4Classics.com (http://keys4classics/), along with the more common Silca GT2 (all metal) and GT2P (classic grille-shaped plastic head) for our door locks. I, myself, got a GT2BP cut to my locks' code (look for the 4-digit number stamped into the back of your glovebox lock ;) ) along with a blank GT2BP (in case I ever get another Beta ;) ) and a plastic oval-head ignition key also cut to code, and am quite pleased with the quality. 8)
