Hello, GVP.

Bayless, Inc. (Bayless Fiat Lancia World) at http://www.baylessfiat.com/index.html might have what you are looking for. There are a number of wiring diagrams and other helpful manuals listed on page 20 of the catalog. In addition, you should look at the pricelist for page 20, since they separately list other items there. You may also consider e-mailing them. They are extremely helpful and nice.

All the best,

Miriam

Hello GVP,
I have sent you the wiring diagram for the Bosch "L" Fuel Injection as fitted to the Beta 2000ie engines.

I will scan the rest of the diagrams and post them on the Lancisti Downloads area, but probably be tomorrow that I have enough time.

Best regards, Leo

Speaking of wiring diagrams, does anyone have one for a VX please?

Hello again,
Have submitted the diagrams to DJ for publishing in the Beta Technical bit of Downloads.
The diagrams cover all the the S3 Coupe and HPE cars including the Bosch Fuel Injection loom and Automatic Transmision. Does not cover the VX engine bits, but the VX Supplement is in "Rossacorsa" photo gallery under "VX Info".

Excellent thanks, but I really need the diagram for the entire car.

Eh?
The combination of what I have submitted and what Rossacorsa has posted is the complete car. When items are submitted to the downloads area, DJ has to approve them so it may be a few days before they appear.
I have the VX supplement as well so will scan that and add it also, first I need to find it though.

No I'm after the full circuit diagram for the fuel pump system on a VX coupe, I'm having trouble with it on mine. There are two separate systems in this circuit, one allows the pump to run when the starter is operating, it then switches to the other part of the circuit once the engine has started, it's during this part that my fuel pump isn't getting any power, I've traced the fault from the fuel pump back, and I'm just at the stage of trying to figure out why and where the power wire goes under the dash. I'll have another look but I still can't quite find the diagram I'm after.

Hello Fingers,
I see what you mean. I don't think that there is a fulldiagram for the fuel pump bits. The relay is shown on http://www.lancisti.org/forum/modules.php?full=1&set_albumName=albuo21&id=DSCF4504&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_photo.php
and also as relay "D" in the "Secondary Connections" diagram that I have sent to DJ. I don't have a VX so I can't relate the wiring to the physical bits. My car does has a mechanical pump but there is a grey wire that runs from the front right hand strut area all the way back to where the electric fuel pump would be connected. There is a multiway connector under the dashboard at the right hand end. My car is RHD btw. However that same wire would be used for both starting and running situations so that must be OK on yours (?).
Sorry can't be any help so far.

Yeah that wire's fine, when the power is actually going to the pump there's no problem there. My problem's more at the other end of the circuit where the signal to power the pump is coming from, have ruled out the starter and oil press. switch. It'll just be a matter of more fault finding.

Nevermind, all sorted, it was a bad fuel pump relay, a new one fixed it.

Paul, where is that relay located? Not having problems with mine at the moment but it would be as well to know. I've spent many an unhappy hour in the past trying to trace where that bloody grey wire goes to and how the fuel pump is controlled.

Hi Chris, how have you been? The fuel pump relay is under the rubber flap on the outboard side of the battery, just in front of the coil. There are two one's for the electric fan (White) and the other's the fuel pump (Black). On mine the fuel pump relay is the forward of the two. It started off as just a few burnt contacts.

Fine thanks mate but missing my car especially after seeing Andybeta's VX a couple of weeks ago. Thanks for the tip about the pump relay. I know the one you mean but did not realise it controls the pump. Should be spending September in the sun so I'm looking forward to driving the beast again and hoping that the hurricane season doesn't turn nasty.
