Going through the paper records that come with Fenice, I found a order sheet from Vick Autosports that mentions a '.6mm piston set' - is this standard or a bit bigger than the regular pistons?

I also found a receipt that talks about 'bore/clean/grind, and fit pin bushings.'

Fenice's engine is a 2.0 converted to carb, and scoots real well.

As an old MoPar guy, this sounds like bigger pistons, but I'm still learning the Lancia game...

Thanks,

Steven Jepson

BTW - when do I lose the 'newbie' moniker?

Steven,
What you describe would suggest the engine has been stripped, cleaned and thoroughly rebuilt with a mild overbore making it necessary for oversize + 0.6mm pistons to be fitted.
So yeah, bigger pistons :!: Nice thing to have a fully rebuilt engine.

0.6 pistons is the third overbore size - 84mm standard, 84.2, 84.4 and 84.6. Its the largest size supported by Lancia although others have gone larger still.
