What is the standard static timing for a lancia vx 10 deg BTC?

I think it's in Guy's book - I'l have a look - but personally I'd advance it until it knocks slightly under load then retard it a smidge till it doesn't . .

According to Mr Croft

10 deg static
25 plus minus 2 deg at 3100 rpm centrifugal
15 plus minus 2 deg max vacuum.

Thanks, noticed car performs better when timing is retarded rather then advanced! Must be due to not being able to burn the fuel properly plus the pinging under advance that im not hearing!
