I have a beta cylinder head that has been ported etc. It seems the combustion chambers have also been slightly altered. The sharp sculptured edges have been smoothed off (a little roughly actually) around the spark plug holes and valves. So my questions are will this have any negative effect on the engine's peformance? Are these features there as a result of mass production or for a reason? And when aiming for high compression, can the removal of a small amount of material effect this greatly? I know these are trivial questions, bit I would appreciate any input from the Lancia gurus out there.
Thanks. Jeremy.
