Was interested to come across the following:
http://www.viva-lancia.com/assocat/calendar.htm#flavia
i.e. a potential gathering of old Lancias in Covent Garden.

I contacted David Bieda and he said it's not too late to register an interest - no firm date has been fixed yet. Could be good.

I just think it's a pity that Betas aren't welcome

Especially as it's a contemporary of the Stratos  but we get used to it

............and it pre-dates the Gamma too. Maybe if they can't make the numbers up they'll let us Beta folk in?

I note from the LMC mag that this event is definitely going ahead. Relevant quote from http://www.viva-lancia.com/assocat/flavia-event-2003.doc :
"The Lancia & Flavia 2000 Consortium is holding a unique Lancia event in London’s oldest and greatest square in the heart of London’s West End, on Sunday September 14th 2003 to celebrate the introduction of the model into the UK. We are inviting owners of Flavia, Fulvia and all earlier models to join us: Theta, Lambda/Dilambda, Artena, Astura, Augusta, Aprilia, Ardea, Appia, Aurelia, Flaminia, Fulvia, Flavia/2000, Gamma, Stratos"

Is anyone taking their car to this event?

I'm taking a Stratos (a real one) and a Flavia of some type or another.

This was a great day out in London. I was lucky enough to be one of the people able to bring their car into this historic piazza (Covent Garden) in London.
Pictures are in a gallery at http://www.lancisti.net/forum/modules.php?set_albumName=album01&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_album.php&PHPSESSID=6ea87f87632b8879ee65595480833247 if you're interested. :)

Was a nice day - the Opera Singers were a nice touch, as was a food parcel each. We took a Stratos (the real one) and also a Flavia Sport.

The only downside were the amount of tourists who felt that they could get into / open the doors of a Stratos without asking.

We also had a Pizza in the Piazza, but unlike the Piazza, the Pizza was quite bland and tasteless.
