I'm the new (and delighted) owner of a '67 Fulvia Rallye 1.3.

To help sort some electric issues (headlamps and horn), I looking for a wiring diagram for the car.

I've queried Omicron regarding a workshop manual, but in the interim am wondering whether anyone's posted such a thing anywhere on the Web.

Thanks.

Hello

Have replied to your email about workshop manuals.

Its possible that there is a wiring diagram on the net somewhere. I haven't seen one but then I haven't needed to look as we have the wiring diagram in both the drivers handbook and the workshop manual.

I have a jpg of a diagram scanned from a workshop manual.
It's a bit ropey but may help :?
You'll have to PM me with your e-mail address as I'm unsure how to place attachments against a message here.

Shaun,

I have copies of this coloured one in my car all the time. With changes made to it:

I just tried to upload it to here but failed. If anybody knows how to do this, please do so.

Regards, Peter

Peter,

Many thanks! Though your comment that you keep copies in your car at all times is a little disconcerting . Surely the Fulvia electrics aren't that ropey?

The support on this List is great. My thanks to Peter, Kev and Andrew for their aid and suggestions.

I'd probably have found and fixed the problems by now if I were spending less time driving and more time diagnosing.

But driving the Fulvia is more fun.

Regards.

Hello lanciaracing.com
I tried to upload your diagram but it failed. Two days ago I was able to upload a brochure successfully so I thought I was an expert!

I suggest that you send DJ a private message and ask him to upload the file, although I will try again later.

Leo, I just mailed a request to DJ. If you like my site, make sure you go the latest Rallye additions.
Cheers, Peter

With regard to the horn I would test light the power to the horn first as the relay is more reliable than the headlight one. Also try holding the horn button (the outer ring not the center) and turn the steering wheel to see if it works. Common for the contact ring to need a bit of cleaning.

There are two relays in the left rear of the fuse box below the glove box. The larger one is the headlights, the smaller one is the horns. Two bolts hold the relay to the box and two screws from underneath hold the relay cover on. Note you have to turn the headlight switch clockwise to pull out fully (pull out park lights, turn right pull out further headlights)

The typical relay failure is the the flexible wires inside the relay (two in the headlight relay) start to corrode/oxidize and become stiff preventing the relay from closing. A few drops of WD40 will loosen up the corrosion and out some flexibility back in the wires. Clean the contacts while you are in there and the relay shoud be good for another decade.
