Probably an incredibly dumb question, but...

http://www.omicron.uk.com/omi-fun.html

Is this a real photo or some clever photoshopping? I thought it was a real photo, looks very classy (no obvious hints of p'shopping if indeed it has been), but when I tried finding some info on it, no luck, hence my question.

Can anyone shed any further light on it? Was it actually earmarked for production?

Really lovely looking car IMHO, the HPE conversion is integrated particularly well. Shame it was never built...

I've seen it done as a home grown conversion at least once great idea and a pity that lancia never did it as it appears to add a lot of usefulness to the fulvia

Its a fake!

I wish I could take the credit, but it was sent into me.

There have been several attempts by other people to make an estate version, including this Fulvia Touring Giardinetta.

There have only been two HPE's to date - the Beta and the Delta

Cheers for your replies. Was thinking a p'shop when I couldn't find any info on it but you had me fooled beforehand.

Must admit, that Giardinetta is not the best-integrated conversion I've ever seen... :?

Still really like the Gamma Olgiata, particularly handsome conversion that one. And I know that one exists. (Apparently it's in private hands these days.)

The Olgiata is a lovely looking car.

All the Gamma specials survive. Two - the Scala and the Spider are in the UK - we've done work on the Spider.
