I wish I could post the pictures I viewed last weekend & lost
[sigh]. The similarities between that car, design, deck lid where
it meets the rear upper fenders are strikilng similiar to an LBZ.
A real good rear end view of same. The tailights are similiar too!
Instrument pod "stuck-out" from the dash very like a Monte/
Scorpion. I REALLY wanted a 4-porte several years ago but a
new exhaust system [yes they are still availible, ANSAs too!]
cost a decent percentage of what one would buy the car for.
I've pissed away enough money on my '82 LBZ & '76 Scorp but
it's always fun to look. Damn shame these pieces of art on four
wheels [in their era] have little or no value. Thought I'd post ...

Sounds like a Quattroporte III from the sounds of it.

Instrument pod sitting atop dash is definitely a 4p III. One of our forum members, Zagato67, recently bought a gorgeous example. They can definitely be found for relatively little money. But that jalso means you've got to be patient enough to find an exceptional one; a car with any significant needs will eat you alive.

I always liked the Quattroporte IV. In fact, I liked all of those Gandini-styled mid-90s creations we never got over here. Especially the Shamal and the Ghibli II.
