My VX is booked in for it's MOT on Saturday and I've got to try and do something about it's appalling brake performance. I've got some Brand New front calipers to go on in time along with some new hoses but as a stop gap want to try and thouroughly bleed the system. In what order are you supposed to bleed the calipers? Do you bleed the mixed circuit on left and right at the same time or the front/mixed circuit on each front caliper at the same time? Any advise Gratefully appreciated as I'm doing this tommorrow (Hopefully!)

My Haynes says to bleed the front circuit line (outer bleeder nearest rotor) on both sides, then the mixed circuit (inner bleeder nearest end of caliper).
As an aside, I'd recommend a pressure-bleeder, so you don't run the risk of damaging the seals in your m/c by pumping the piston beyond it's normal range, as you could do during bleeding. BTDT!
Make sure to support the rear in such a way as to not allow the suspension to hang, the rear compensator will block fluid otherwise.
Hope this helps!

Also, start with the wheel furthest from the master cylinder (RR) and work you way to the wheel closest (LF). Make sure you keep the MC tanks topped up with fresh brake fluid.
