Just a quickie - any idea what a good set of Cromodora alloys goes for in the UK? 14 x 5.5.

£100 per 14" is very cheap unless quite shabby. 13" Fanalone wheels much more:

Cost of refurbishment should be added. Remember magnesium wheels are very different to Aluminium ones and need special care - can't just take them to usual outfits for powder coating!

Recommend Ian Jemison in York.

Normal proceedure for Mag wheels:

Bead blast, oven (375F for 2h), cool, weld cracks etc, oven again, machine, oven again, zinc chromate prime, oven again, paint, oven (yes again!), laquer, oven again.....

That way all moisture is removed and prevents internal corrosion.

spitline wheels are 6J. 5.5J chromodoras are quite a bit cheaper. somewhere between 200-400 depending on condition.
