I was alerted to this a few days ago, weeks too late, but thought I would share the torment. An auction in western Colorado last month included two Beta Coupes, a Scorpion (and two pagoda roof Mercedes SL roadsters!).
I contacted the auction company and am trying to find out if perhaps a dealer purchased the vehicles, but not much traction yet. One reply said that 'all cars except the BMW were sold'. I didn't see a BMW in the photos(?)
Apparently also, all cars sold for well less than $500 each, and along the lines of a Benjamin a piece! Maybe that's just hyperbole, but it's enough that I've brought the torment to this support group for some piece of mind...eventually.
