...the person that had a deposit on it came into some financial problems and had to back out. He still wants it, but I don't want to hold it for six months. I am going to use the funds from the sale to buy back an X1/9 I previously owned...and REALLY want back.

82 Zagato
Blue/black
Runs quite nicely (just finished going through the entire FI system)
Shifts well (renewed shift linkage)
Stops well (brakes still have some life)
Good compression, all fluids were recently changed, AM/FM Blaupunkt works fine, paint has nice shine, some rust starting up under rear bumper area and one dime size bubble under the paint on one door (I have seen MUCH worse), will need a water pump soon (you can hear the current one), quiet exhaust but needs a rear hanger mounted as it hangs a little low in the back and vibrates in the car occasionally, hazards do not work. Heater valve sticking.
Convertible top is in excellent condition.
14 inch Cromodora Daytona rims on brand new tires (extremely rare wheels!).
Tail lamps in excellent condition! LOL
Not a 100 point car by any means, but wll still get its' share of attention at any gathering.
I am only selling it to raise funds for the X1/9. If it doesn't meet my reasonable reserve, I guess i will replace the water pump, attach the exhaust hanger and drive it all summer.

That's one of my favorite colors on a Zagato. Or any Lancia. Looks great -- good luck with the sale! :)

Nice! Sorry for a couple of questions. On your Daytonas, there is the offset cast into the side. Can you tell me what it says? I'm curious for my own Beta.

Second, Daytonas look great on X1/9s....especially 14"....why wouldn't you keep them for the X?

The X I am gettting back already is running 13 inch Daytonas up front, and 14's in the rear. I tend to put Daytonas on all of my cars. The Offset on these is 22.
Thanks!

Ahh....then those Daytonas are for an Alfetta.... Model number is CD50. Thanks...I was going to put these same wheels on my Zagato and hadn't seen anyone else do it.

Correct. CD50. I think they look great on a Zagato. Not easy to find!

I already have a set...in gold. Came on my now sold 76 Alfetta. My 79 Alfetta has the super rare 15x7 Ronal A1s....which I also thought about putting on the Beta for a little bit. ;)

Very cool. Do you happen to know how many years these Daytonas were used on the Alfettas? I have always wondered.

They were period aftermarket or dealer accessory (nt sure if Alfa sanctioned or not) from 1975 through 1979 model cars....the 4x98 years. After that with the GTV6 and later the Milano, Alfa went 5 lug....5x98. Elsewhere in the world though, Alfa still sold 4 cylinder and thus 4 lug versions of the Alfetta... Not sure when Cromodora themselves quit making the original magnesium Daytona...probably late 70s were the last runs. They did make various versions...5 lug for Mercedes, 4 lug for BMW and Lotus, etc.....

Now I know. Thank you!
