Restoring a Series 1 Fulvia Sport from which a previous owner has removed all but the 2 front centre bumper irons. (I appreciate that there is a strong school of thought which says the car looks better without the bumpers). As I would like to replace the bumpers - is there anyone who has a set of bumper irons with which they would be willing to part for a suitable consideration?

Matt have a look at the Zagato bits for sale on ebay, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190510758572&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
I would suggest you look at his "other items for sale, if you can't spot what you're looking for mail him as I bought parts off of him a few months ago.
When I went to collect them I had a look at his Zagato that he races so it's possible he might be able to help.
The lot above has reached £20 and I'm almost tempted to bid on it myself, as a friend in Holland is after the air cleaner box and air intake nozzle that doesn't have the hot air takeoff, and the one show as part of this job lot looks like it hasn't got the takeoff.

Thank you for your help. If I end up making a successful bid I'll come back to you regarding the air cleaner box.
Where is the seller based?

There's a guy on EBAY selling front and rear bumpers for a Series 1. Lives in Dorset. Reasonable price.

Matthew,
He lives at Pitstone about 6 miles SW of Leighton Buzzard Bedfordshire, but I think the parts are probably where he rents garage space at Wendover, which is about 6 miles from Pitstone.
If you put Pitstone into maps at theaa.com it will find it straightaway, I only live about 12-14 miles away, so if you have problems collecting let me know. thanks for the offer of the air cleaner bit, that would be very helpful!

Thanks for that super-golfer. The bumpers are not the problem, I have bumpers. What I am lacking is the bumper irons - which are like captive bolts attached to the substructure (or the engine block in the case of the centre front pair) which pass through the bodywork for the bumpers to attach front and rear. As the bumpers are often removed on both the Sport and the coupe I was hoping someone might still have the irons in the back of the garage.

Matthew,

The front bumper irons attach to the frame legs with two bolts each. They couldn't possibly attach to the engine block--nor would you want them to. There was a set of irons for a Coupé on eBay.it a couple of months ago. And the different front valences mean that the Sport doesn't share its bumper irons with the Coupé or berlina--the irons are unique to each type.

Have you tried Felix at Lancia Cape Service? I don't have the patience to sort through these myself, but they may be here: http://www.lancia.co.za/index.php?page=article%2Fsearch&justreload=false&unlimit=false&name_en=bumper&category_id=null&parent_model=Fulvia&model_id=null&action=
