Does anyone know something about the secrets of the original maglioli racecam.

Have heard a lot of it but what is the truth. Any details are welcome

Hi Tim

maybe this week i will get a pair. Mean´s original one. Not a rework of the normal profil.
What i know is the the lobe should shifted radial compare to the normal cam´s + another
profil.

I think your biggest issue would be the timing. It's not hard to set the cams to the theoretically correct timing, but you don't know if they might have run them slightly off that.

will get the timing together with the cam´s. They run in the past in an historic fulvia race car in Germany.
The guy will sell them depent on a havy disease. So he is not longer able to race.

If you have the timing, then I suspect you know all the secrets you need to. Best of luck with them, and please let us know how they turn out.

I would be very interested in the cam data. Not just the timing but the lobe shape as well. It would be nice to have them measured very accurately before installing so copys could be made if it turns out they work well.
Cheers,
William

I believe that there are a lot of interested in that. Me too. Hope that this are really original one.
And if it is true what the guy told me than i will get a set with a race history from `69.
More maybe later when i have them.

Does anyone know how many set´s were built that time.
