For those of you that were too hung over, or not brave enough to bring out your pride & joy in the damp, here are a couple of pictures taken today showing Lancia gathering at Brooklands Race track

No Less than three 1600HF Coupes in a row & Three Zagato Coupes were amongst the Lancia turn out.

Nice line-up, and a great way to start the year.

Congratulations! It was not snow, I heard that UK is very cold and have snow a lot....
In Japan, we go to Shinto shrine for praying good and safe year, but not driving fulvia. There is always traffic jam....
And stay together with family in warm house, eat, play, drink sake.....
Here is a typical Japanese new year card of mine. We do not have changing Christmas cards, instead of that we change new year cards.
Happy new year to every lantisti!

Happy New Year Kei,
Love your card! unfortunately I was unable to make Brooklands but sounds like a good time was had by all, except for one visitor who had a bad fall down the banking, which required an ambulance on site for some considerable time, if you've never seen the banking of the old race track it's hard to realise just how steep it is, and it can also be dangerous as shown by this incident, normally the Brooklands staff are very strict on people climbing the banking, but obviously didn't spot this person.
As for the cold and snow, yes it's been very cold with lots of snow and ice with night time temperatures in most places being at least minus 4c, and in lots of places seeing -10c with at least one place seeing minus 21c, it has supposedly been the coldest December since 1890!

KEI,
Happy New Year to you too! I just returned from Japan on Friday (Dec. 31) We visited a Shinto Shrine (Fushimi Inari Shrine) while we were there. Incredibly beautiful and according to the weather forecast for the day we left, likley covered with snow now which would only make it more beautiful.
It was my first time in Japan (visiting my youngest Daughter, who lives in Yokohama) and we were quite taken with the beauty of the countryside. Your New Year card highlights some of that beauty (with a beauty of the automotive type!)
Thanks for sharing it!

More from me - great mix of cars. Good to see the chaps there. Should have taken mine but the rain on the way back made me think perhaps best choice (at least until I can find the spare Cromodoras to put some road tyres on!)
