Wwwow! o.O That is immaculate! And only 42,500 miles? Good to know a surviving example even exists in this condition, but I just couldn't buy it now -- it's too nice! I couldn't do it justice without a proper garage to keep it in... :'(

Looks like my car if it had been garaged all its life. Now posted on bringatrailer.com and justacargeek.com, and with bidding at $3605, I can't believe the seller's reserve is higher and that he's expecting to get more! I mean, not that it isn't spotless, but that's a very narrow market segment he's targeting. If it were closer to me, I'd have to have some serious discussions with myself.

Chris,
Couldn't agree more. In the abstract, it'd be easy to argue that this example is worth well more than $3600. But relative to their (virtually nonexistent) market, it's hard to support the seller's optimistic reserve.

After languishing on a dealers lot for 18 months I got my
'78 Sedan [options: metallic & A/C] brand new for $6K.
Heck there wasn't even much of a market back then!
