After hi-jacking this forum, probably about time for something a little more serious well sensible.
Here is a nice example of the French built Belna for sale in Belgium. I do not know the value of these cars but the price being asked does not sound silly.
Check the web-site out and enjoy.

Obviously, a little bored this evenning so I have been scanning the ads.
I have come accross an Augusta for sale. Very bright interior, but the car well lets just say that it is not in quite as good a condition as the Belna, and obviously requires a bit of work.

Anyone out there looking for a winter project?

Been for sale for quite some time, as it must be well over a year ago I first saw this advert.

I would have thought that's a good price for that particular Belna, but I would expect a standard Augusta would probably be near £20K.

I have always fancied a 1930's car with sporting tendencies, I think these lancias are lovely but the high roof line tends to spoil it, a bit too 1920's (put your top hat on dear we're going out!)
Something a little more Art Deco in style please, I am sure one of the coach builders must have produced something, the Belna is a bit more to my tast.

Paul,
Although the Agusta is a bit boxy you certainly couldn't wear a top hat in one as it's quite a small car.
Like yourself I like the Belna in the photo, the standard Belna though looks more or less the same as the Augusta, but if you really want a seriously nice one then you need to put lots of pennies aside and get a March Augusta!

Lovely, but I suspect a tad over bodied.

The coach built coupes are really beautiful. Over bodied? NO, but probably given the small size of the engine the performance is not that great. But it is all about show. If you arrive in style, why not enjoy the time it takes you to arrive anywhere. I would love either of those two cars.

Your attention please, the yellow/black Belna isn't a coupè, but it's the famous Eclipse model equipped with a retractable roof.
Portout invented this system, on a Peugeot for the first time, many years before the Mercedes SLK.

The French National Motor Museum at Mulhouse has a Peugeot fitted with this roof, it's massive!
