I had such a fight with mine to begin with that I've damaged the 2 day old paint job and they'll have to go back today for some remedial work :cry: . At least the inserts are out now.

If there's a way of 'blanking off' where the bushes went I'd try it as getting new bushes in is almost a smuch fun as getting the old ones out.... 8O
When it come sto new bushings, I'd suggest a lot of silicone grease - or similar. Don't use washing up liquid..... too much salt :? :x

I have some synthetic grease that I've taken to using for jobs like this. As far as I know it's well suited to polyurethane and does not contaminate rubber in the same way that normal grease can. Fitting poly bushes instead of the normal rubber ones appears to be much easier as you don't have to force a metal jacket in.
