Welcome Franco,
What year and model is your Thema?
I've owned 2 x 1993 Series 3 2.0 16 v Vis Ls Autos, great cars, one thing to be aware of if you are not already is the cambelts, they are absoloutly critical, and need to be changed frequently, they was a modification to the belt drive wheels and the belt as they had a tendency for the belt to break, I even had a belt break at 19K miles about 40K KMs, even though it had the latest drive wheels and belt.

If you need it you will find the 16v workshop manual under downloads, then click on Thema.

Do you know Guy Mc Dougall or Jack Joubert? both of them run Themas and maybe able to help.
I think you might find the reason you can't download is your broadband speed, from what I gather you have a pretty slow system in SA?
I would offer to burn you a copy of the W/Shop manual, but everytime I try to send anything to SA it gets nicked in the post!

Hi Franco.

Welcome to the joys of owning and running a Lancia. Hope that you have much enjoyment, I think you will. You haven't owned a car until you have owned an Italian car. They conjure a true passionate relationship = but I am never sure whether it is more hate than love, or more love than hate. Many years ago, I owned a Maserati, very unreliable (electrical problems - you would have been a useful chap to know). Seemed that it went wrong almost every week (I exagerate - it just felt that way). My wife used it as her daily drive and therefore bore the brunt of the hassle that it brought. Nonetheless still her favourite car. When it would not work, she had to use my Fulvia HF - which was, of course, very reliable but far too small to pick up a load of kids. Kids these days have far too much stuff. The Fulvia wasn't fast enough for my wife (except in country lanes) but that misses the point behind the joys of one of these cars.

Wishing you all the best with your Thema.

Hi Franco,
the workshop manual is a bit of heavy reading but you should find it very useful, if you need anything else let me know and I'll see if I can help.
Do you have any photos and details that you can post of your Thema?.
