Flavia 2000 HF runs rough.

Ive just changed the waterpump and replaced the air filter, fan belt & servo belt on my 2000HF. However she seem to have started running a bit rough. It feels like there might be something to do with the Ignition as the engine rattles a lot more than before.
Has anyone got any sugestions?

faulty manifold pressure sensor is a likely candidate another is the points have slipped (had that several times on the 2000HF I had a while back), the rattle comment would worry me a bit though or do you mean pinking?

I first thought there was something wrong with the exhaust. It sounded "louder" that normal, and when the car was idling the exhaust system was shaking more that usual i thought.
When I drive the engine feels a bit "sluggish", I cant get the response I usually have when I put my foot down.
I think ill have to get a "pro" mechanic to look at it.

once you know your way around it the fuel injection system is quite simple better to try to learn for the future than call in the 'professionals' check the obvious things like splits in hoses loose plug leads points gap etc. first

Problem solved. Changed sparkplugs, that where old and not looking good at all. Now she runs well.
