I need to get my vx coupe back to Grimsby soon so I'm desperate to get rid of my Y10 fire to make space. MOT until mid 2005 but needs a service and brakes pulling to one side. looks tatty (was most embarassing car at the agm this year!!) but engine is sweet running and economical. ideal as a short term stop gap runabout for someone. take it away for free it just needs road tax and a battery. use it to keep the winter salt off your beta!

While we're at it I'm heading down the coast tomorrow to take a look at a driveable but unregistered $500 '79 HPE. It didn't sound too bad over the phone, and chances are it'll be dismantled if it isn't bought and that's a waste, so could be worth a look, if for nothing other than parts.
