Looks so lonely sat in the middle of that field like that....just as well its a sunny climate.

bit strange claims one owner but was reg in UK and is left hand drive I think it'll be one English owner and several careless Italian ones!!reg in 1963 but appears to be an injection car with the late style dash (63 car would have strip speedo i think and injection was introduced in 1965 same time as new dash pod) maybe an error on first reg date or it's not quite what it appears

The number plate is a credible 1963 UK South London issue and there appears to be nothing on the reg document to suggest it was registered somewhere else before the UK. Intriguing.

The registration paperwork in the eBay description is a little hard to decipher, but the reg matches the current plate, and it appears to list the owner as a John McPherson on Court Wood Lane in Croydon. But even with my best photo interpretation skills (?), I can't make out a chassis number.

Just found this on the DVLA site, looks like it left the UK in 1983 but it's still a valid registration in the UK.

looks beyond redemption anyway a few years back I had 594GLA the autocar road test car and it looked better than that one but it was very rotten cut it up for scrap in the end

having thought about this the car would probably originally have been on an old style log book my guess would be that this car was originally registered in Italy and imported some time prior to the start of centralised records at DVLA, probably errors were made on transfering the registration details onto the dvla computer but what else is odd there seems to be no qualification on number of owners. If the car was first reg in 1963 later when it was put on the dvla system there should be some sort of qualifier on the reg doc as it will only record number of owners from when it was put on the dvla system (does that make sense I can't think how to explain it clearly!!)

I think it doesn't show full chassis number only the last 4 digits
